Some people have none, some have one. But me, I have two godmothers. Sarah and Jenny. Both meticulously chosen (in case you wonder, no, physical location was not the determinating factor when mom and dad ask them if they would do the honor).

Jen is the one who lives the furthest away, in Chicago, to be precise. But we met up in London this summer. In Sarah and Tony's house. (Tony is Sarah's husband, so that makes him my step-godfather.)

My other step-godfather is Cory, to whom Jen's married since a few weeks back. Hip hip hooray for them!

Sarah is not only the godmother of me, she's also the mother of Rosie and Henry. (Perhaps I should change the order of that, as I guess motherhood weighs somewhat more heavily than godmotherhood. Marginal differences, though.)
Here's her and Henry:

And here's her and Rosie:

Henry is our godbrother, as he's mom's godchild. And Rosie, as you know by now, is Adam's big love. Very interwoven relationships there! Here's a few pics of Rosie and Adam at Eketorp this summer. Pretending to be Vikings:

Baking iron-age bread:

And making heart-shaped love amulets:

So there: the Godfamily!
Adam's godfamily is smaller, but still great: Pelle and Cilla, who you could admire in photos here at the blog for pretty much all of June (of course you still can, but now you have to scroll down a bit), and now a stepgodsis or bro in the making.

Antonia has got some cool godmothers, I must say. :) And no worries about the distance between her and them -- it just means that she's got people watching out for her all over the world!
